Ingredients

3 cups white chocolate chips

14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

2 tablespoons extra crushed candy canes for topping

Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and leave extra parchment hanging over the edges for easy removal.

2. Place the peppermint candies into a sealed bag and crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin.

3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and butter. Stir continuously until smooth.

4. Add the white chocolate chips and continue stirring until completely melted and creamy.

5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and salt.

6. Fold in the crushed peppermint candies while reserving some for topping.

7. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly with a spatula.

8. Sprinkle the remaining crushed peppermint candies over the top.

9. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until fully set.

10. Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into squares before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality white chocolate for the smoothest texture and best flavor.

Keep the heat low while melting the chocolate to prevent grainy fudge.

For cleaner slices, chill the fudge completely and wipe the knife clean between cuts.
