Strawberry Dirty Sprite

  • Author: Zoe McKenney
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving (can be scaled up for multiple servings)

Description

The Strawberry Dirty Sprite is a deliciously refreshing beverage that combines the tangy, bubbly flavor of Sprite with the sweet, juicy taste of muddled strawberries. This simple, non-alcoholic drink is perfect for hot days, parties, or any casual gathering where a cool, flavorful drink is needed. Garnish it with fresh strawberry slices and a sprig of mint for an extra touch of beauty and aroma!

Ingredients

  • 3–4 fresh strawberries, sliced (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup of Sprite (or more for extra fizz)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional sweetener (simple syrup, honey, or sugar)
  • Lime juice (optional, for added tartness)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and slice the strawberries into thin rounds. Set a couple of slices aside for garnish.
  2. Muddle the Strawberries: Place the sliced strawberries into a glass. Gently muddle them using a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their juices.
  3. Add Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving room for the other ingredients.
  4. Pour in the Sprite: Add 1 cup of Sprite into the glass, or more depending on your preference. Stir gently to combine the muddled strawberries and Sprite.
  5. Optional Sweetener & Lime Juice: If desired, add a teaspoon of simple syrup, honey, or sugar for sweetness. A small squeeze of lime juice can add extra tartness if you prefer.
  6. Garnish & Serve: Garnish with extra strawberry slices and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
