Ingredients
1 cup heavy whipping cream
8 oz mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1 1/2 cups brewed espresso or strong coffee
2 tbsp coffee liqueur
7 oz ladyfinger cookies
unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
optional whipped cream or candied pecans, for garnish
Instructions
1. Brew strong espresso or coffee and let it cool completely. Stir in coffee liqueur if using.
2. In a bowl, whip the cold heavy cream to stiff peaks using a hand mixer.
3. In a separate bowl, combine mascarpone, sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix until smooth.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture until combined and airy.
5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso (1-2 seconds per side).
6. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of an 8×8 or 9×9-inch dish.
7. Spread half of the pumpkin mascarpone mixture on top.
8. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
9. Top with the remaining pumpkin mixture and smooth the surface.
10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
11. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish before serving.
Notes
Always chill the tiramisu for a minimum of 6 hours to let flavors develop and layers firm up.
Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling, to avoid excess sweetness and spices.
Dip ladyfingers briefly to avoid sogginess—just 1-2 seconds per side.
