Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken is a crispy, golden-breaded chicken breast topped with a luscious, creamy Parmesan garlic sauce. This restaurant-style dish is full of comforting flavors and makes a perfect centerpiece for any dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half horizontally)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable oil for frying)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  5. In a clean skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
  7. Season sauce to taste, then spoon over fried chicken breasts.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
