It’s a simple homemade appetizer that comes together quickly while tasting like something straight from a restaurant menu.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

14 ounces artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely diced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Extra Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or cast-iron skillet.

2. Thaw the frozen spinach completely and squeeze out all excess moisture using paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.

3. Drain the artichoke hearts thoroughly and chop them into small bite-sized pieces.

4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.

5. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir well to evenly distribute the seasonings.

6. Mix in the minced garlic and diced onion.

7. Fold the spinach and chopped artichokes into the creamy mixture.

8. Add the mozzarella cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and most of the Parmesan cheese, reserving a small amount for topping.

9. Stir until all ingredients are evenly combined.

10. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

11. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.

12. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot, bubbly, and golden brown around the edges.

13. Allow the dip to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

14. Serve warm with tortilla chips, toasted bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Always drain the spinach and artichokes thoroughly to prevent the dip from becoming watery.

Freshly shredded cheese melts more smoothly and creates a creamier texture than pre-packaged shredded cheese.

Let the dip rest for several minutes after baking so the cheese can settle slightly for easier serving.
