Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork baby back ribs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water (for slurry)
- Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat dry and cut into sections.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch and water into a slurry and stir into the sauce until thickened. Set aside.
- Coat ribs in half the sauce. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
- Arrange ribs on a foil-lined baking tray. Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for 2 to 2½ hours until tender.
- Remove foil, brush ribs with remaining sauce.
- Broil for 5 to 8 minutes until caramelized. Watch closely to avoid burning.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve hot.
