Ingredients

  • 1520 Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sugar for coating (about 1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Stuff the Oreos: Twist the Oreo cookies apart, add the cheesecake filling, and press the cookies back together.
  3. Make the batter: In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
  4. Heat the oil: In a deep pan, heat enough vegetable oil to fry the Oreos to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Coat the Oreos: Dip each stuffed Oreo in the batter, covering it completely.
