Ingredients

8 cups green cabbage finely chopped

1 medium carrot finely grated

2 tablespoons onion finely minced

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup whole milk

1/4 cup buttermilk

2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Remove the outer leaves and core from the cabbage, then finely chop the cabbage into very small pieces.

2. Peel and finely grate the carrot using a box grater.

3. Finely mince the onion and place all vegetables into a large mixing bowl.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

5. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and stir gently until evenly coated.
