Ingredients

3 large eggs

1 box strawberry cake mix

1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin

1 cup crushed fresh strawberries (drained)

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup water

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh whole strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, mix strawberry cake mix, strawberry gelatin, crushed strawberries, oil, eggs, and water. Beat until smooth.

3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

6. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix well.

7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

9. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake.

10. Garnish with fresh strawberries and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Make sure strawberries are well-drained to prevent soggy batter.

Chill the cake before serving for the best texture and flavor.

Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth, lump-free frosting.
