Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 jar (about 12 oz) roasted red peppers, drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear tilapia fillets for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add roasted red peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer the peppers and garlic to a blender. Add heavy cream and Italian seasoning; blend until smooth.
  6. Pour the sauce back into the skillet and let it simmer gently for 5 minutes to thicken.
  7. Return the tilapia fillets to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
