Ingredients
15 mini phyllo shells (pre-baked)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
0.5 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
0.25 cup sour cream
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
0.25 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Stir in most of the crumbled bacon and chives, reserving some for garnish.
4. Arrange phyllo shells in a mini muffin tin or on a baking sheet.
5. Spoon or pipe the filling into each shell without overfilling.
6. Top with remaining bacon and chives.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until heated through and golden.
8. Cool for 2–3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chives if desired.
Notes
Make sure cream cheese is softened to blend smoothly with the other ingredients.
Don’t overfill the phyllo cups to avoid overflow and mess during baking.
Reheat leftovers in the oven, not the microwave, to maintain crispiness.
