Ingredients

For the Chicken & Pasta:

  • 23 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta until al dente, drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through (5–7 mins). Remove from pan.
  4. Lower heat to medium. In the same pan, whisk in mustard, honey, and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 mins.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 mins until sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and stir to coat. Add pasta and toss everything together. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Finish with butter (optional) and garnish with herbs.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
