Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 2 1/4 cups (280g) bread flour
- 3/4 cup (180ml) warm water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp instant yeast
For the Stuffed Crust:
- 5–6 oz (140–170g) brie cheese, sliced
For the Toppings:
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 min until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, olive oil. Mix into a dough and knead 8–10 minutes.
- Let rise in oiled bowl, covered, for 1–1.5 hours.
- Preheat oven with pizza stone at 500°F (260°C) for 45 mins.
- Roll out dough to 12–14 inch circle on floured surface.
- Place brie strips along outer edge, fold dough over and seal.
- Spread sauce in the center. Add mozzarella and parmesan.
- Brush crust with olive oil and garlic mix.
- Transfer to hot stone and bake 8–12 mins until bubbly and golden.
