Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
5. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk, mixing just until combined.
6. Divide batter evenly between the pans and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
