Ingredients
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
- 2 1/2 cups chicken or beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Pour rice into an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cut butter into chunks and scatter evenly over the top.
- Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 30 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
