Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons honey
8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
2 tablespoons chopped parsley or chives
Instructions
1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in garlic, paprika, and a bit more Cajun seasoning.
5. Add honey and a splash of pasta water. Stir until sauce thickens slightly and becomes glossy.
6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
7. Add pasta to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Use more pasta water if needed for a creamy finish.
8. Sprinkle with parsley or chives and serve hot.
