Ingredients
For the Wings:
- 2–3 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
Optional Garnish:
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Pat chicken wings dry, season with salt and pepper, and toss with olive oil.
- In a bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients (except cornstarch and water).
