Ingredients
2 medium chicken breasts
4 cups chopped green cabbage
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika or chili flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Slice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, chop the cabbage into thin strips, mince the garlic, and slice the onion.
2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and sear until golden and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Remove chicken from pan.
3. In the same pan, add a bit more olive oil if needed. Add sliced onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
4. Add chopped cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for 6-8 minutes, letting it soften and caramelize.
5. Return chicken to the pan. Add soy sauce and optional spices. Stir and cook 2-3 more minutes.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use boneless chicken thighs if you prefer a juicier cut.
Add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for variety.
Reheat in a skillet to maintain texture instead of microwaving.
