Ingredients
For the Chicken Wraps:
- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 4 large flour tortillas
For the Garlic Cream Sauce:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- Pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken with olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 15–30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and saute garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Simmer until thickened, then add Parmesan, salt, white pepper, nutmeg, and parsley. Stir until smooth.
- Warm tortillas to soften. Fill with cooked chicken and roll tightly.
- Sear wraps in a skillet until golden and crisp on both sides.
- Serve with warm garlic cream sauce spooned over the top.
