Description

Quick Creamy Cajun Pasta is a bold, comforting dish made with tender Cajun-spiced chicken, fettuccine, and a velvety parmesan cream sauce. It’s a fast and flavorful meal that’s perfect for weeknights but fancy enough to impress guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, then add parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add drained pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. If needed, add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and combine everything well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley if using.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy.
