Ingredients

  • 23 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow or orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped (reserve some for garnish)
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce or Sriracha
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)

Optional Toppings: Crushed red pepper flakes, toasted sesame seeds, lime wedges


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken slices, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through (5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers and green onions for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and chili sauce.
  7. Pour sauce into the skillet with vegetables; stir to combine.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the cooked pasta.
  9. Mix well, ensuring the pasta is coated. Add the cornstarch slurry if using and simmer until thickened.
  10. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or chili flakes. Serve hot.
