Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine (or preferred pasta)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the fettuccine to the pan, making sure it is fully submerged. Stir occasionally and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan and stir to combine. Adjust seasoning if needed.
