Ingredients
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch coins
- 3 cups cooked white rice (preferably day-old)
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced sausage and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Lower the heat to medium, then add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Sprinkle in brown sugar and stir until melted and bubbly.
