Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/3 cup chocolate sauce or melted chocolate
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin pan or line with paper liners.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time. Add vanilla extract and stir well.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
5. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
6. Spoon the batter into muffin tin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
8. Remove from the oven and press 3–5 mini marshmallows onto each brownie bite. Return to the oven for 2–3 minutes to toast the marshmallows.
9. Let the brownie bites cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
10. Drizzle with chocolate sauce or melted chocolate. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Let the butter and sugar mixture cool before adding eggs to prevent cooking them.
Don’t overbake; the bites should be fudgy with moist crumbs.
A piping bag or zip-top bag makes drizzling the chocolate cleaner and easier.
