Description

Heaven On Earth Cake is a no-bake layered dessert that combines cubes of angel food cake with creamy vanilla pudding, cherry pie filling, whipped topping, and fresh fruit. It’s light, fruity, and irresistibly creamy—perfect for summer gatherings, potlucks, or any occasion when you want something sweet and refreshing without turning on the oven.


Ingredients

  • 1 prepared angel food cake (store-bought or homemade), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)
  • 1 cup assorted fresh fruit (e.g., sliced strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, cherries)

Instructions

  1. Cut angel food cake into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix, milk, and sour cream until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. In a 9×13-inch dish, layer half of the angel food cake cubes.
  4. Spread half of the cherry pie filling over the cake layer.
  5. Pour and spread half of the pudding mixture on top.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining cake, pudding, and cherry pie filling.
  7. Spread whipped topping over the final layer.
  8. Decorate with fresh fruit.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Slice and serve cold.
