Description

Golden, garlicky, and irresistibly soft on the inside, these Heart Shaped Breadsticks are the perfect savory snack or side dish. Shaped like hearts and baked to a golden crisp, they bring charm and flavor to any occasion—from Valentine’s dinners to festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or 1 batch homemade pizza dough)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • (Optional) 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Slice into 1-inch wide, 8 to 10-inch long strips.
  4. Fold each strip into a “V” shape, curl the ends inward, and pinch to form a heart.
  5. Place hearts on the baking sheet, spaced evenly.
  6. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Brush each heart with the butter mixture.
  8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Optional: Brush again with remaining butter and serve warm with marinara.
