Description

These Hawaiian Roll Sliders are the ultimate quick comfort food for any occasion—from weeknight dinners to party platters. With their soft, sweet rolls layered with savory ham, melty Swiss cheese, and a tangy buttery glaze, they’re the kind of easy recipe you’ll keep coming back to. Ideal for easy dinner ideas, crowd-pleasing appetizers, or quick breakfast options, these sliders are loaded with flavor, minimal in effort, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

12 Hawaiian rolls

9 ounces sliced ham

6 slices Swiss cheese

½ cup unsalted butter

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls attached.

3. Place the bottom half in the prepared dish.

4. Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls.

5. Add a layer of Swiss cheese on top of the ham.

6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.

7. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds. Simmer briefly.

8. Pour or brush the glaze generously over the rolls.

9. Let sit for 10 minutes so the glaze soaks in.

10. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.

11. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until golden on top.

12. Let cool slightly, then cut and serve warm.

Notes

Always let the sliders sit after pouring the glaze to fully absorb flavor.

Use foil during baking to prevent burnt tops and ensure even melting.

Try different cheese and meat combos like turkey and cheddar or roast beef and provolone.
