Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Brown the Beef – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic – In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Prepare the Sauce – Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Parmesan – Gradually stir in the grated parmesan cheese, mixing until fully melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Combine Everything – Return the beef to the skillet, then add the cooked spaghetti. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
- Serve – Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and top with extra parmesan. Serve immediately and enjoy!
