Ingredients
- 1 lb medium or large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional), chopped
Instructions
- Thaw, peel, and devein the shrimp. Pat dry.
- Cut broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince garlic and chop parsley.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and sauté for 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Return broccoli to the pan. Add lemon juice and stir everything together for 1 more minute.
- Turn off heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve hot with your choice of side.
