4 cups chicken broth
2 cups whole milk

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds more.
