Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembly:

  • 6 small tortillas (corn or flour)
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • Lime wedges and cilantro (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, mix shrimp with olive oil, jerk seasoning, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Salsa: In a separate bowl, mix pineapple, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Chill until ready.
  3. Make the Crema: Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
