Description

Add a festive twist to a classic with this Eggnog Tiramisu! Perfect for the holidays, this easy no-bake dessert layers espresso-dipped ladyfingers with a luscious eggnog mascarpone cream, finished with a dusting of cocoa powder. Whether you’re searching for Christmas dessert ideas, a quick make-ahead dish for entertaining, or cozy winter food ideas, this is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. This creamy, spiced, and slightly boozy treat is the ultimate combination of Italian elegance and holiday cheer.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups eggnog

1 cup heavy whipping cream

16 oz mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

4 large egg yolks (optional)

2 cups brewed espresso or strong coffee

23 tbsp dark rum or bourbon (optional)

2 tsp vanilla extract

3035 ladyfinger cookies

Unsweetened cocoa powder

Ground nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1. Brew strong coffee or espresso and let it cool. Mix in rum or bourbon, if using.

2. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with 1 tsp vanilla until stiff peaks form.

3. In another bowl, blend mascarpone with eggnog until smooth. For custard style, whisk egg yolks and sugar over a double boiler until pale, then combine with mascarpone.

4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

5. Quickly dip ladyfingers one by one into the coffee mixture, then line the bottom of an 8×8 or 9×9 dish.

6. Spread half of the cream mixture over the dipped ladyfingers and smooth the surface.

7. Repeat the layers: dip more ladyfingers, then top with remaining cream.

8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.

9. Dust with cocoa powder before serving. Add a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon for extra flavor.

Notes

For best results, chill overnight to let the flavors fully develop.

Use full-fat eggnog and mascarpone for a richer, creamier texture.

Avoid over-soaking the ladyfingers — a quick dip is all they need.
