2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup dried cranberries or chopped dried apricots (optional)
Instructions
1. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in the vanilla extract.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
5. Gently fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, nuts, and optional dried fruits.
6. Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes (optional for best results).
7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
8. Scoop dough into balls and place them 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
