A must-try if you’re into easy dinner wins, comfort food ideas, or romantic date-night dinners.

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil), chopped

3/4 cup chicken broth

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. Stir in chopped sun-dried tomatoes and pour in chicken broth. Scrape up any browned bits from the pan.

4. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.

5. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over each piece. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.

6. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

You can substitute chicken breasts with boneless thighs for extra juiciness.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.

Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes depending on your spice preference.
