Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (all-butter, thawed)
8 oz pork sausage meat
1 small onion, grated or finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg, beaten (for sealing and glazing)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, combine sausage meat, onion, garlic, parsley, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it lengthwise into two strips.
4. Place the sausage filling down the center of each strip in a log shape.
5. Brush one edge of the pastry with beaten egg, fold over the sausage, and seal the edge.
6. Place seam-side down and slice into smaller rolls (2–3 inches each).
7. Transfer to the baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
