Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup milk

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons melted butter

Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.

3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Don’t overmix.

4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and grease with butter or oil.

5. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of batter onto the skillet.

6. Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles appear and edges begin to set.

7. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden and fully cooked.

8. Serve warm with your favorite dips or toppings.

Notes

Use a cookie scoop for even poppers and consistent cooking.

Don’t rush the flip—wait until bubbles form and edges firm up.

Cool completely before freezing to avoid sogginess during reheating.
