Ingredients

1 pan fudgy brownie base

2 cups chocolate mousse

2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping

1/2 cup chocolate ganache

3/4 cup chopped chocolate candy (e.g. Butterfinger, Crunch bars)

1/4 cup chocolate shavings or curls (optional)

Instructions

1. Bake your brownie base in a 9×9″ or 9×13″ pan according to package or recipe instructions. Let it cool completely.

2. Spread chocolate mousse evenly over the cooled brownie base.

3. Add a thick layer of whipped cream or whipped topping over the mousse.

4. Drizzle cooled ganache over the whipped topping, letting it run slightly over the edges.

5. Sprinkle chopped chocolate candy and optional chocolate curls on top.

6. Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set the layers.

7. Slice using a warm knife, clean between cuts, and serve chilled.

Notes

Chill each layer for 10–15 minutes before adding the next for easier assembly.

Use a sharp, hot knife to slice cleanly through the layers.

For better structure, use stabilized whipped cream if preparing ahead.
