Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- 3–4 fresh jalapeños, deseeded and finely chopped
- 2 green onions, finely sliced (optional)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Small bowl of water (for sealing wrappers)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella (if using), jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and bacon.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface like a diamond. Spoon 2–3 tbsp of filling into the center.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then the left and right corners. Roll tightly toward the top, sealing the edge with water.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry egg rolls in small batches, 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
