Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 lb gnocchi (shelf-stable or refrigerated)

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for garnish)

Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Optional: Red pepper flakes, lemon zest


Instructions

1. In a bowl, season the chicken with Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Add chicken in a single layer and sear for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter. Add gnocchi and pan-fry for 7–8 minutes until golden and crispy.

4. Lower heat to medium, push gnocchi to one side, and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.

5. Return chicken to the skillet and toss everything together.

6. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and gently mix to coat. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.

7. Garnish with parsley, more cheese, and red pepper flakes or lemon zest if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the skillet—cook chicken in batches for the best sear.

Skip boiling the gnocchi; pan-frying adds the perfect crispy edge.
