Description

Golden, juicy, and irresistibly crunchy, these Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are tossed in a creamy-spicy sauce that’s the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Perfect as an appetizer, game-day snack, or a standout main course.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1 1/4 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Neutral oil for frying (canola or vegetable oil)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Set up a breading station with 3 bowls: flour, whisked eggs, and panko.
  3. Dredge each salmon cube in flour, then egg, then panko. Press gently to coat well.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry salmon in batches for 1.5–2 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to make the sauce.
  7. Toss the warm salmon bites in the sauce or drizzle over the top.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
