Description

Creamy Sausage Gnocchi is a quick, comforting one-pan meal where tender gnocchi soaks up a rich, savory sausage and cream sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

1 pound Italian sausage

1 pound potato gnocchi

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic minced

1/2 cup crushed tomatoes

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes.

2. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Add crushed tomatoes and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.

4. Stir in gnocchi. Cover and cook for 5–6 minutes until gnocchi is tender.

5. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Top with fresh basil and serve hot.

Notes

This recipe takes about 25–30 minutes total.

Shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi both work.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Reheat gently with a splash of cream or milk.
