Perfect for a cozy family meal or when you just need a little cheesy indulgence.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

8 oz linguine pasta

½ cup reserved pasta water

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. Boil linguine in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5. Stir in a pinch of Cajun seasoning if desired, then pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.

6. Add mozzarella in batches, stirring until completely melted and the sauce becomes smooth.

7. Add drained pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.

8. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet or serve over the pasta.

9. Garnish with parsley and optional Parmesan. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra stretch and melt, shred mozzarella from a block instead of using pre-shredded cheese.

Always reserve pasta water — it’s perfect for adjusting sauce texture.

Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep it juicy and tender.
