Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente (about 1–2 minutes less than package instructions). Drain and set aside.
- Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Sprinkle flour and whisk continuously for 1–2 minutes to form a roux. Gradually pour in heavy cream and broth, whisking until smooth and thickened (about 3–4 minutes). Stir in buffalo sauce, honey, cheddar, and mozzarella until melted and creamy. Remove from heat.
- Combine and Assemble: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix cooked pasta, seared steak, and sauce in a large bowl. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with additional mozzarella cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
- Garnish and Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or chives. Enjoy!
