Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
For the Pasta:
- 10 oz rotini or fusilli pasta
- Water and salt for boiling
For the Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Boil pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream, simmer gently, then stir in parmesan until smooth.
- Add parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Adjust consistency with pasta water.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Slice chicken and place over pasta. Garnish with parsley and parmesan.
- Serve immediately.
