Description

Creamy Garlic Chicken is a one-pan dish where tender chicken breasts are simmered in a luscious garlic-infused cream sauce. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for weeknights or a comforting weekend dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced or sliced
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 cup green beans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter, and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the pan, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Return chicken to skillet, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  8. Stir in Parmesan (if using) and thyme. Add green beans if using and simmer 2–3 more minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
