Craving a cozy and satisfying pasta dinner that comes together in under 40 minutes? This Creamy Garlic Butter Beef Bowtie Pasta with Italian Sausage & Spinach delivers bold flavor, indulgent texture, and weeknight-friendly prep. It’s the perfect combination of ground beef, seasoned sausage, and fresh spinach tossed in a luscious garlic butter cream sauce with perfectly cooked bowtie pasta. This is one of those go-to easy dinner ideas that feels fancy enough for guests but is simple enough for a quick weeknight meal. If you’re after comfort food, creamy pasta recipes, or hearty family meals, this one is a must-make.

Ingredients

340g bowtie pasta

225g ground beef

225g Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)

3 cups fresh spinach

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 tablespoons butter

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set pasta aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and sausage, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. Drain excess grease and set meat aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.

4. Stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, then add Parmesan and stir until smooth and melted.

5. Return the cooked beef and sausage to the skillet. Stir to combine with the sauce. Add cooked pasta and toss until well coated.

6. Add fresh spinach and fold it in until wilted, about 1–2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

7. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it.

8. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, best-tasting sauce.

Don’t overcook the spinach — fold it in right at the end to keep it bright and tender.

Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream to bring the sauce back.
