Description

Creamy Beef Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a rich, satisfying dish made with tender beef, farfalle pasta, and a luxuriously creamy garlic-parmesan sauce. It’s perfect for weeknights, special dinners, or whenever you’re craving comfort food with gourmet flair.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb beef sirloin or tenderloin, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley or thyme, for garnish
  • Extra Parmesan, for topping
  • (Optional) 1 small shallot, finely diced
  • (Optional) 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp cold water
  • Reserved pasta water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season beef with salt and pepper. Sear beef until browned on all sides (3–4 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat to medium. Add remaining olive oil and butter. Sauté garlic (and shallots if using) for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up brown bits.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth. Add pasta water as needed.
  6. Return beef to skillet. Simmer 2–3 minutes to finish cooking.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and extra cheese. Serve hot.
