Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
  • 3 cups frozen hash browns or tater tots
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels. In the same pan, cook the sausage until browned, then drain excess grease.
  3. Layer the base by spreading the hash browns or tater tots evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Add the meat by sprinkling the cooked sausage and crumbled bacon over the hash browns.
  5. Top with cheese, spreading the shredded cheddar evenly over the meat.
  6. Prepare the egg mixture by whisking together eggs, milk, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole, ensuring all ingredients are covered.
  8. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the top is golden brown.
  9. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  10. Garnish with green onions and serve warm. Enjoy!
