Ingredients

12 medium jalapeños

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbles

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.

3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

4. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag.

5. Sprinkle bacon crumbles over the tops and press lightly to stick.

6. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes until the filling is golden and bubbly.

7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.

You can prep these up to 2 days ahead and bake right before serving.

Mini sweet peppers can be used for a milder version without sacrificing flavor.
