Ingredients

6 flour tortillas (8-inch, preferably a day old)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt (optional)

Honey, powdered sugar, or fruit salsa for serving (optional)

Instructions

1. Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.

2. Stack tortillas and cut each into 6–8 wedges using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

3. Toss tortilla wedges in a bowl with melted butter until evenly coated.

4. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over wedges and toss again to coat fully.

5. Choose cooking method:

6. – To Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lay chips in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

7. – To Fry: Heat oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry wedges in batches for 1–2 minutes per side until golden. Remove and drain on paper towels.

8. While still warm, optionally sprinkle with more cinnamon-sugar.

9. Cool completely on wire rack or paper towels to crisp.

10. Serve with your favorite sweet dips or enjoy on their own!

Notes

Use slightly stale tortillas for extra crispiness.

Flip halfway through baking for even color and crunch.

Let them cool completely before storing to preserve crispiness.
